Jack Wolfskin sponsored tour: This tour is sponsored by Jack Wolfskin. 

  • Each participant will receive Goodies (i.e., hats, t-shirts, thermos etc.)

Participation criteria: 

  • You have no objections in being photographed -- the pictures will be used in social media.
  • You have participated in at least 5 group hikes (with at least 5 participants) in the past 12 months.


Technical difficulty: The hike has difficulty T3, however depending on snow conditions it may feel a bit more challenging. Please read the blog to understand the requirements for sac scale T3.

Transport: We are taking the RB6 (5413)/ RB60(5512) to Innspbruck Hbf at 08:28 => change in Murnau to RB63 (59563) to Oberammergauat 9:42 => Exit in Unterammergau.

Timing: We will probably not be back before 6 PM. If you have plans early in the evening, please take into consideration that hiking can be unpredictable and planned times may not correspond to reality. We will probably also stop at the hut to enjoy a dring under th spring sun.

Good to know

What to bring with you:

- hinking shoes/ gaiters / spikes

- at least 2 L of water

- food/snaks 

- sun protection

- adequate hinking clothing (layers - for changing spring temperatures)

- If you tend to sweat a lot, bring a clean extra T-shirt for the way back. Let’s keep it breathable.

- Deutschland ticket or money to buy your own ticket

- DAV card or similar insurance 

- Downloaded offline accesible route navigation

- Cash for the Hut (in case they do not accept card)

- anything else you, as responsable hiker consider that will be necessary for a safe end enjoyble hiking experience

By participating in this hike, you agree to release the organizer from any liability for injuries, accidents, or other incidents that may occur. You participate at your own risk and responsibility.

If you decide to leave the group (go in front by yourself, or stopping for no reason), then we won’t search for you and you officially left the group, it is also the same if you don't bring required gears
