If anyone is coming by public transport I have three seats free in my car. I could be at the train station in Schwyz at 16:10 and will also be passing by there again after the hike.

We meet at the valley station of the Funicular Schwyz-Stoos. We take the funicular (16:40) to Stoos and start then the hike to Fronalpstock (4km and 630m up)

We watch the sunset at 20:00 and hike back to Stoos where we take the funicular at 21:40.

Don't forget your headlamp and warm clothes. 

Depending on our hiking pace we'll reach the top about an hour before sunset. If the mountain restaurant is open we can stop there for a drink. Of course anyone who doesn't want to stay for the sunset can hike back down on their own

There's snow all along the way so snowshoes are definitely an advantage for hiking. Especially because I expect the snow to be quite heavy as it gets warmer
