We will traverse the ridge from Aschau to Oberaudorf and stop at the open Spitzstein hut on the descent. Several peaks and the short T4 sections are optional and we will adapt the route to the terrain conditions.

Technical Difficulty: This hike is suitable for fit advanced hikers with excellent stamina. There is a short climbing section near Spitzstein secured with ropes. You must be surefooted, experienced with walking in snow, and not have fear of heights. You should not be slow (>=450m gain/hour), and a pace of at least 5,5km/h in the flat parts.

Transport: We will take public transport  Train RE5 departs 7:04 from Ostbahnhof (Hauptbahnhof 6:55), arrival 8:16 in Aschau. Bring your Deutschlandticket or organize your own ticket. Return from Oberaudorf every hour, probably at 16/17:10.
