Description

🐣On Easter Sunday we would like to explore a bit more of the Kufsteinerland. This time, the plan is to visit Hochegg 1470 m (let's enjoy some Easter eggs there), Duregg (1312 m), and Zettenkaiserkopf 1609m (please don’t confuse it with Zettenkaiser, 1968 m).

🐇 Starting from Kufstein Bahnhof, we will go via Aschenbrennerhaus and Venedigerblick – a nice bench with a view of Großvenediger. This section is rated T5 on HB, although I don’t recall any particular difficulties (however, there is also an alternative T3 route, just incase). From there, we continue to Kaindlhütte and on to Walleralm /Kafma Alm / Stöfflhütte, where ascent to Zettenkaiserkopf starts.

As far as I know, the route to Zettenkaiserkopf is generally not well marked, and with fresh snow it might be challenging to find. Nevertheless, I’d like to give it a try – if the snow is too deep, we can skip it.

After descending from Zettenkaiserkopf, we can decide whether to take the bus from Scheffau am Wilden Kaiser or continue on foot to Kufstein, as the buses from Hintersteiner See are not yet in operation.

Nimm deine 🥚🥚 mit 😉
