A hike in the Kaisergebirge with a view of the picturesque Hintersteiner See, lunch at the Stöfflhütte/Walleralm overlooking the majestic Kaiser mountains, a dip in the lake, and a drink (maybe with Alpacas) under the sun looking out to the lake to round up the day!

Technical Difficulty: Beginners with some previous hiking experience are welcome to join. You have to be surefooted and not be too slow (~400m gain/hour). The route may not be fully well marked at all times (as per several reports), so some sense of orientation and navigation, along with a good sense of team spirit and sticking together is required.
Weather conditions: Forecast looks good and sunny, with temperatures up to 15° at the top and about 23° in the valley.
Transport: We will go by carpool to avoid logistical delays due to tight connections. The plan is to start hiking by 09:30 so departure from Munich around 08:00.
