This event is mainly reserved for participants who are joining the Zugspitze hike on June 20th as the goal is to get to know each other better before the main hike, understand the group dynamic, and see everyone’s strengths, pace, and comfort zone on more technical terrain.

Other participants are welcome to join as long as spots are available, but if the participant list becomes full, priority will be given to those attending the Zugspitze hike.

After completing the via ferrata, we’ll take a well-deserved break at Grünsteinhütte to relax and enjoy the incredible views over Königsee and Watzmann.

Requirements:

Via ferrata set, helmet, gloves, good hiking shoes, sure-footedness, and basic fitness.
