Wolf Trail Siegen — 4-Day Hike with Hiking Buddies

We have secured 15 exclusive spots for the Hiking Buddies community at the Jack Wolfskin Wolf Trail Siegen, one of the flagship stages of the Wolf Trail series. This is a unique multi-day adventure — hiking 75km through the Siegerland region over four days, camping overnight with other Wolf Trail participants, and finishing with the grand Basecamp event on Saturday.

⭐ REQUIREMENTS TO JOIN

This event is reserved for active Hiking Buddies members. To be eligible, you must have completed at least 5 hikes with Hiking Buddies in the last 12 months (non-negotiable :) ). This is a reward for your commitment to the community — and given the full set of gear each participant receives, we want to make sure spots go to those who have been showing up on the trail.

The 15 spots are open to both Hiking Buddies Zürich and Munich members — first come, first served.

⚠️ No need to register on the official Jack Wolfskin website — your spot is reserved exclusively through Hiking Buddies.

ℹ️ GENERAL INFORMATION

🌧️ Weather Rain or shine — bad weather is not a reason to cancel. Come prepared for all conditions.

🥾 Type Multi-day hiking

📍 Region Siegerland, Germany

🚶 Pace Moderate — approx. 20 km/day, 75km total, limited elevation gain, steady and comfortable pace.

🚌 Transport Approx. 5–6 hours from Munich / Zurich. Wednesday evening arrival recommended — own accommodation to arrange.

🎟️ Spots 15 total, open to Hiking Buddies Zürich and Munich — first come, first served. No registration on the official website needed.

📦 WHAT YOU RECEIVE

Each participant will receive a full Jack Wolfskin hiking outfit from the Spring/Summer collection — 6 items: shoes, backpack, jacket, midlayer, bottoms and top.

🗓️ SCHEDULE

Wed June 3 Optional arrival in Siegen. Arrange your own accommodation.

Thu June 4 — Stage 1 9:00 AM — Meeting point: Siegen Hauptbahnhof, 57072 Siegen, Germany 9:30 AM — Minibus transfer to trail start in Schanze Day 1 hiking to first campsite

Fri June 5 — Stage 2 Day 2 hiking to second campsite Evening at shared camp with other Wolf Trail groups

Sat June 6 — Stage 3 Day 3 hiking to Basecamp Afternoon & evening — Basecamp event: workshops, music and food

Sun June 7 — Stage 4 Day 4 hiking — final stage Shuttle transfer back to Siegen at the end of the trail

🎒 GEAR

• Full hiking outfit provided by Jack Wolfskin (see above)
• Mandatory: bring your own sleeping bag. Tents provided, 2 persons per tent.
• Jack Wolfskin will transfer luggage you cannot carry to each campsite daily.

💳 DEPOSIT PAYMENT

A deposit of 100 EUR / 100 CHF is required to confirm your spot. Please transfer it using the details below:

The deposit is fully refunded after the four days. It is forfeited only in the event of a no-show or cancellation without replacement, in which case it will be donated to Hiking Buddies.

🔄 DROPPING OUT & REPLACEMENT

If you can no longer attend, you are welcome to find a replacement within the community. Please note the following conditions:

• The replacement must have completed at least 5 hikes with Hiking Buddies in the last 12 months
• The replacement must be of the same gender and size, so that the gear order in the Google Sheet can be transferred as-is
• The deposit transfer is handled directly between you and your replacement — Hiking Buddies is not involved in that transaction
• If no eligible replacement is found, the deposit will be donated to Hiking Buddies

📸 PHOTOS & VIDEOS

By joining this event, participants consent to being photographed and filmed during the hike. Photos and videos may be shared on the Hiking Buddies and Jack Wolfskin social media channels. If you have any concerns about this, please reach out before signing up.
