I will be taking this train from Zurich HB:


The alternative meeting point is Immensee station at 9:30 (I decided to go earlier because of the weather).

I’m planning a hike to Mount Rigi this Sunday to enjoy the panoramic lake views and snow-free trails.

I will aim to finish at Arth-Goldau by 16:00 at the latest, allowing 6.5 hours for the hike and breaks. I am planning this to be a recovery hike, but if the whole group decides to pick up the pace, we can finish earlier. If the rain forecast moves to earlier hours, we might need to pick up the pace anyway, but I definitely will not abandon anyone.

This is a technically easy hike, but please check the stats (distance and altitude gain) to make sure the pace works for you.

I will check MeteoSwiss on Saturday. Unless the forecasts change dramatically and there is a sudden monsoon, the hike is on.

I will create a WhattsUp group if more than one person joins.
