Description

Let’s escape the bad weather in the north and head to Ticino, in particular to the scenic "balcone d'Italia" at Mt. Sighignola!

Balcone d'Italia Monte Sighignola Front Side Home

The route consists in a loop from Bissone. The path is expected to be wet and muddy, be prepared.

I expect the hike to take approx. 6,5 hours including breaks. On top there is a bar, but probably it accepts only € beside credit cards, since it's located in the Italian territory.

This is a medium level hike, not suitable for beginners.
