Hi buddies,

I am going for a bike ride on Monday starting at the Isar and going to the Ammersee passing by the Andechs monastery. Some company would be nice :)

The plan is roughly this:

- Start at 9:30 from the S-Bahn station Solln (close to it, see the map)

- Ride to the monastery and have lunch at the biergarten there (around 12:00)

- Ride to Herrsching (if the biergarten is closed, get a bite there)

- Ride to the Weßling S8 station to go back to the city

I am relatively flexible, if we want to chill at the lake for a bit, get a drink or an ice cream or whatever.

You can also join only for part of the tour. For instance you could join in Starnberg or take the S8 back at Herrsching already.

The Strammstrecke should be closed, thus the S8 from Weßling runs only until Pasing. From there you will have to get back home by bike, so take that into account.

I have a trekking bike and I ride at a speed of 17-22km/h (depending on the hills). This is not a race bike tour.

Since I have posted also in other groups, I will open the event only to 2 people. But I can let more people in, if nobody joins from the other communities.

Must-haves:

- A good bike to ride at a moderate speed for 60km

- Helmet

- Water

- Some snacks

- Sunscreen

- Cash

- Good legs :)
