Snow Hunt Mission ❄️🚴‍♂️⛷️

Anyone up for a last snow hunt?

The plan is to ride from Sankt Sigmund im Sellrain up to Pforzheimer Hütte, and from there scout the surrounding peaks to see if there’s still some snow left for one final ski touring dance.

If the snow is gone (very possible), we’ll adapt:
– either continue exploring the peaks on foot
– or head back to the car, drop the ski gear, and keep riding to stack as much elevation as possible ahead of the summer season

I’ve got a bike rack for 3 bikes, so there are 2 spots available.

Requirements:
– gravel or MTB bike
– ski touring gear
– avalanche kit (beacon, shovel, probe) + knowing how to use it
– food & water for the full day (huts are closed)
– flexible mindset and willingness to adapt the plan to conditions
