Description

Dear adventurous buddies,

Lets go this Saturday to Seefeld and do a hike with amazing views and multiple peaks.

If your profile does not indicate you are experienced in T4, T5 hikes and are fit (minimum 450-500 hm/hour) send me a PM prior to joining. The tour is T4 but there may be rest snow fields, historically there are in this time of the year during the part from the Nordlnger hut to the Freiungen and back (which is skippable in case of bad conditions - of course this is subjective, everyone is responsible for themselves, and can opt to e.g. stay longer at the hut which is open)

Bring spikes, poles, mountain insurance, first aid kit, food, a lot of water, cash and whatever else you deem necessary. Do your own research! I will also have an ice axe just in case

We will have late lunch at the hut on the way down

PLAN:

06:28 München Hbf (Platform 27)
RB60 to Garmisch-Partenkirchen

07:55 Garmisch-Partenkirchen (Platform 3)
7 min change on same platform

08:02 Garmisch-Partenkirchen (Platform 2)
S6 to Innsbruck Hbf

08:45 Seefeld in Tirol (Platform 1A)

Trains back from Reith: (17:10), 17:40, 19:10, 19:40, (21:10)

Good to know

The T-Scale is described in this blog : https://www.hiking-buddies.com/blog/2018/07/02/sac-hiking-scale/
