A slow beginning at 2:15 AM near Herrsching am Ammersee — the kind of hour where the world feels paused and the lakes belong only to the night. This hike is less about chasing distance or elevation and more about moving quietly through the Bavarian darkness, hopefully under a sky full of stars.

Really looking forward to this one. Hiking through the night again reminds me a lot of the late night walks and hikes I used to do back in India. Forest paths, sleeping villages, and the stillness around Wörthsee and Pilsensee will probably make the night feel endless in the best possible way. Somewhere along the route, there will be moments to stop completely — no music, no conversation — just the sound of footsteps, distant water, and the sky stretching above the lakes.

The weather should be perfect at around 16°C, cool enough to enjoy the walk without rushing. Hoping for clear skies, quiet trails, and that peaceful feeling you only get when everyone else is asleep.

The best part will probably be catching sunrise by the lake after walking all night. Nothing fancy, just calm water, soft morning light, tired legs, and a quiet morning before grabbing breakfast and heading home straight to bed :)

A warm coffee, fresh bread, and the satisfaction of walking through the night before finally sleeping. The perfect reset.
