This Sunday before the weather goes wet :P, let us finish the Tegernsee circuit
Plan is to start early, enjoy the morning views, get some decent hiking done, and hopefully be back before the rain gods open all taps around 1 PM. And honestly, even if we do get caught in the rain, it should still be around 18°C+, so we probably won’t freeze dramatically in the Bavarian wilderness.
Please gear up accordingly:
rain jacket
good shoes
emergency pretzel energy
emotional acceptance of possible wet socks
We’ll take the 6:10 AM train from Harras, and of course people can also join from HBF if waking up before sunrise on a Sunday sounds like a good life decision.
Post-hike plan: grab lunch together in Tegernsee while watching the weather turn terrible from the safety of indoors like responsible adults.
Also, return trains are available roughly every 30 mins, so no stress if people want to leave earlier, later, or after consuming dangerous amounts of Kaiserschmarrn.
See you on the “let’s outrun the rain” hike :)
Legal disclaimer: This is not a guided tour. I merely organize the trip to the starting point with like-minded, qualified, properly equipped and reliable persons. Every participant must be able to navigate her/himself on the suggested route. If you join, you acknowledge that hiking is dangerous, you are fully responsible for yourself and that you have sufficient insurance (DAV, Bergrettung or similar).
