You must have completed at least 5 hiking or via ferrata events (with 3+ participants) in the last year to join.
Description
Starting from the historic Maria Waldrast Sanctuary, we’ll wind through scenic forests, push past the tree line into dramatic limestone landscapes, and tackle the final ridge to the summit. Known as the "High Altar of Tirol," Serles offers one of the most breathtaking 360 degress panoramic views in the region, stretching from Innsbruck to the Stubai Alps
Difficulty: Challenging (sturdy footwear and sure-footedness required)
Highlight: Incredible summit vistas and a well-deserved stop at the Maria Waldrast monastery inn afterward.
This is a carpool hike, so please only join if you are sure you can make it.
Travel costs (gas, vignette, parking, etc.) will be shared among all participants.
Please note: I might cancel the event if the weather forecast turns unfavorable or if too few people sign up.

Good to know
What to bring:
- At least 2L of water
- Snacks or packed lunch for along the way
- Sun protection (sunscreen, hat, sunglasses)
- Hiking poles (optional but useful)
- Cash for hut food/drinks (cards not always accepted)
- DAV membership card (recommended for discounts & insurance)
- Downloaded GPX track on your phone/GPS device
- Small first aid kit / blister plasters

I would be interested in joining this hike but have to do 2 more journeys before I can signup for this event so I will do it before the date of the hike but keep me in mind until then! Mama măsii!

Hi Magdalena, I will try to find a second car by then as I see a growing interest in the hike. PS:to be fair, the minimum number of hikes is just a hedge against no-show-ers, I can lift it any time for people that show genuine interest in an event and has no track record of not showing up
