📅Thursday 4th June | 👫 Open for all Hikers but not beginner Please because of Elevation
Starting from the Königssee parking area, take the boat across the beautiful Königssee to the Obersee landing stage one way ticket around 15€ person. Before the hike, enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of Obersee and visit the famous Röthbach Waterfall, Germany’s highest waterfall, perfect for photos. The hike then begins with a challenging ascent through alpine forests and mountain trails. The route covers approximately 19 km with around 1,500 meters of elevation gain, requiring good fitness and sure-footedness. Along the way, hikers are rewarded with spectacular views of the Königssee, the steep rock faces of the Watzmann, and surrounding Alpine peaks. Remote mountain landscapes, crystal-clear lakes, and traditional alpine meadows make this tour unforgettable. After a demanding but rewarding day in the mountains, the trail leads back to the Königssee parking area. Difficulty: hard; suitable for experienced hikers with good endurance.
