Hoi hikers,

Let's go on Sunday up to the peak called literally Sunday mountain. T4 part, ridge and good views over the Chur Rhine valley.

This is a rather fast paced (min. 666 hm/h), not suitable for beginners. The first part is T4 and exposed.


How to get there:

Journey by public transport: ZH HB - Landquart - Igis, Dorfplatz (bus)

The train (IC3 to Chur) departs at 06:38 from ZH HB.

Journey by car: Use gps. 

Journey back at 16:50 from Says, Obersays bus stop. Mandatory seat reservation via SBB Mobile or sbb.ch up to 1 hour before departure.


Meeting point:

08:00 AM - Igis, Dorfplatz bus stop


Hike:

The hike will last ca. 8 hours with a lot of viewpoints.

Short (ca. 20 Min.) picnic lunch break on one of the peaks.

The pace will be fast with enough time to admire the landscape. In case you're not able to keep up with the pace, we might split up.

If needed, we can shorten the hike to catch the bus.

The elevation is ca. 1800 hm acc. to komoot. 


Equipment:

Proper hiking shoes, poles, picnic lunch, snacks, enough water (2+ l), sunscreen, proper clothes acc. to the weather (warmer clothes too), good mood and fitness.

The organizer is no professional guide. Participants are responsible for themselves, must do their own research about the route, and must be able to navigate by themselves (in case the groups split for some reason, for example).

Out of respect for the others, please be on time. If you happen to be late, contact the organizer.

If you have a No Show in your profile (= you did not show up to a hike you signed up to in the past), I may exclude you from the event.

Unjoining allowed until 12 hours before the start of the event. If you are unable to be join for whatever reason, contact the organizer.
