Description
We will meet at München Hbf (Gl. 33). Please be punctual!
Schedule:
07:29 - 08:26 (RB 55) München Hbf - Schliersee
08:31 - 08:49 (362) Schliersee - Spitzingsattel
09:00 - 15:00 - hiking with a short lunch break
15:00 - 16:00 - evtl. dinner at Postgasthof Rote Wand in Gaitau
16:09 - 17:32 (RB 55) Geitau - München Hbf (connection every hour)
Technical difficulty: The hike has difficulty T4. Please read the blog to understand the requirements for the SAC scale T4.
Pace: 400-450 mph
Huts: Dinner at Postgasthof Rote Wand in Gaitau; please bring your own lunch to eat at the peak

Good to know
Things to bring:
- Deutschland Ticket with ID card (EU) or passport;
- water (at least 2 l) and some food to eat at the peak;
- hiking shoes;
- windproof and waterproof clothes;
- sunscreen and sunglasses;
- DAV insurance;
- hiking poles;
- first aid kit;
- GPX file with downloaded route;
- good energy and stamina.
Note:
- Unjoining is allowed until 12 hours before the start of the event
- The organizer is not a professional guide. Participants are responsible for themselves, must do their own research about the route, and must be able to navigate by themselves (in case the group splits for some reason, for example)
Disclaimer: Hiking can be dangerous. I am not a mountain guide. Everybody is responsible for themselves. Please make yourself familiar with the route and its requirements. Additionally, you could download the map, bring a cell phone and a first aid kit.
