We start in Zug/Lech and head towards Spullersee. From Spullersee we will hike over the Gehrengrat (2439m) & Steinernes Meer to Formarinsee from where we will have a nice view of "Rote Wand" (2704)-  probably the nicest mountain of Lechquellengebirge. A couple of years ago Formarinsee was chosen as the most beautiful place in Austria.
From there we will head along the Lechtrail - a popular long distance trail in Austria (in total it's 120kms long, feel free to hike to the end 😉) - and follow it back to the parking lot. Lech is one of the last wild rivers in Europe.
