4. Over the Mairspitze to Nürnberger Hütte

After taking in the panoramic views from the summit, the trail drops down into the adjacent valley to reach the beautifully situated Nürnberger Hütte ($2,280\text{ m}$), before looping back westward along the high-trail network to complete the grand circuit.
