Step into one of Bohinj’s most enchanting landscapes on a beautiful journey through the Mostnica Gorge and the peaceful Voje Valley. This scenic loop begins among the forests above Lake Bohinj, following the crystal-clear Mostnica River as it winds through a dramatic limestone gorge carved over thousands of years by water and time.

The trail takes you beneath towering cliffs, through moss-covered forests, and past striking rock formations, with the river constantly changing character — sometimes rushing through narrow passages, sometimes flowing gently over smooth stones. As the gorge opens, the landscape transforms into the tranquil Voje Valley, where lush alpine meadows, forests and majestic mountain peaks create a feeling of complete wilderness.

The deeper you venture into the valley, the more peaceful it becomes. A highlight of the route is Voje Waterfall, tucked away among the forest and rocks, offering a beautiful reward before continuing through the valley and eventually completing the loop.
