Let’s hike (almost) the entire Daniel ridge.
This hike is not for beginners. There are pathless sections and scrambling up to grade II/III. Surefootedness and alpine experience are a must. The route is long and there is a lot of elevation gain. I intend to go rather fast at a pace of around 500m+ gain per hour. However, we walk as a group.
To get an idea, look at https://www.hikr.org/tour/post180807.html
Train RB6 starts at 6:32 on platform 31 and arrives in Bichlbach at 8:43. This should give us enough time to complete the ridge before it gets dark even if things don’t go to plan. Ideally we return with the train at 18:16. However, please bring your headlamp.
In Lermoos we may have the chance to swim or rather get a hot drink.
