Description

Join me on this easy hike and A/B Via Ferrata from Ettal to Oberammergau.

We will meet in the HBF (platform 29) at 14:20 and take RB 6 towards Garmisch to Oberau at 14:32 and then a bus to Ettal.

The hike should take approx. 5 hours, so for return to Munich we will probably catch the train from Oberau at 21:15, alternative 22:15.

Pace: medium, approx. 400 hm/hr

Even if it’s an easy via ferrata, it’s still quite exposed, so I strongly recommend bringing your via ferrata kits. Also, a headlamp is essential.
