Ladies and Gentleman,

I hereby present my plan for this weekend !

Hiking highlights: Grimselpass, Rhone glacier view, view on Furka pass and Iceberg, view point on the Grimsel hospice hotel and the lake.

For most of the hike, we will be at an altitude of over 2000 metres and the temperature will probably not be higher than 15-20 degrees Celsius.

Those who want to come by public transport should create a virtual car in the carpool.

Starting and end point: Grimsel, Hospiz bus stop

How to arrive there (from Zurich HB):

07:10 Zurich HB (IR70) -> 08:06 Luzern(PE) ->09:16 Meiringen, Bahnhof(B 161) -> 10:12 Grimsel, Hospiz

WARNING: The last bus goes back at 17:42

Elevation gain and loss: around 1200

Highest point: 2666m

Pace: Moderate (one should be in a good physical shape)

Everyone should have: Hiking shoes, proper clothes, food, water, sunscreen.

I might cancel or reschedule the event in case the weather deteriorates by Saturday

Important: Download the .gpx file and load it into a proper app (Swisstopo, Atlas...). If the file fails to load into the app, try renaming it and setting the extension to .gpx.
