General information

Description:

Wengen - Kleine Scheidegg -Grindelwald

This trail leads from Wengen to Kleine Scheidegg (2061m) to Grindelwald. This  is a pass between the two well-known mountains: Lauberhorn (like the FIS ski race) and the Eiger. There are many activities on the Kleine Scheidegg such as restaurants, ski lifts, a cog railway and hotels. We will await fantastic views of the Lauterbrunnen valley, the Grindelwald-Fiescherfirn, Eiger, MΓΆnch and Jungfrau.

Meeting point: Wengen CC 63

Starting time: 10h45 precisely. We will not wait for latecomers. You can try to catch up with us if late, but we don't always stick to the route.

RouteThe second part of the hike leads through open terrain with little shade, so we recommend to have adequate sun protection.  mostly T2, not T4.

Pace / fitness level: Moderate, please consider that this is not a hike for beginners. There is a short version of you still want to join. You could do only half of the hike and take the cable car.🚠

Transportation: Everyone goes to the meeting point on their own.

Let's enjoy a nice day in Berner Oberland, close to the alpine triumvirate.

    • Not a rule, but on your profile, ideally, add a picture of you and select the country you're from (not the one you're living in), to show how international the group is. :)
