Description
Meeting at 8.15 am on platform 32 at Munich Main Station
The train RB55 departures at 8.30 am to Bayrischzell, we’ll arrive in Schliersee at 9.26 am
Please have your Deutschland ticket (49 euro)
It is a moderate hike (T2), mostly easy to walk paths, but a good basic condition is required. The trail is (more or less) 15 km, but I am a non-professional slow hiker, so it might take approx. 5 h. https://www.komoot.com/de-de/tour/7530491
However, we will have enough time for a lunch break at Neureuth hut on the halfway. https://www.neureuth.com/ (Cash only!)
You might also have an ice scream (https://www.eismanufaktur-tegernsee.de/) on the beach at the end of the trip,
The train from Tegernsee to Munich departs every 30 minutes, so we can take the one at 4.22 pm or 4.52 pm.
Please make sure that you join the trip with your own risk & responsibility. All liabilities and insurances etc are your own responsibility. Check the route before joining as well.
Good to know
Necessary: hiking shoes or ankle-covering hiking boots, 2 liters of water, foods/snacks, poles, sun blocks, some cash for drinks/foods/ice cream, a good mood.
I would also suggest you download SOS EU ALP app for an emergency case.
Note: In case of rain, snow, thunderstorm, too few participants, etc. the hike might be canceled, modified, or moved by the host.
Please think of people on the waiting list and unjoin the event 12 hours in advance, if you don't plan to come or you are not sure. You cannot unjoin the event when it starts in less than 12 hours.
If you are registered and would not cancel or show up, you may be blocked for future hikes.

Please do not come tomorrow, since I already extend the group to 15 people and you are still on the waiting list. I do not like to hike with a big group and many first-time hikers. Hikking buddies is not Meetup.

Hello Minh,
I want to clarify that I appreciate the time and effort you put into organizing these hikes, especially with a group of this size. I fully understand and respect your point about keeping the group manageable. Just to clarify, I never intended to join tomorrow unless I was officially on the list. My previous comment was simply to encourage others who were no longer on the waiting list.
However, I’m a bit confused by your message and want to make sure—are you telling me not to come tomorrow?

Finally all three of us from the waiting list will join tomorrow, because other people dropped out. By the way, I'm only a beginner on hiking buddies, I've been hiking for more than 10 years now :) See you tomorrow!
