Description

Continuing my obsession with swimming in all the lakes … Not sure how many more warm days we’ll have so let’s go for it!

People who have time pressure to be back in Munich, please don't join. Let’s enjoy nature without pressure!

Hike over Fernpass before passing five iconic lakes of the region. Supposed to be a very scenic hike passing through 5 lakes. Not difficult (like 600m elevation) but long (17km).

Details from the the original route creator, Nshah:

The Fernpass (1,212m) from its lesser-known side. An historic and important mountain pass, the landscape is dotted with a series of lakes. A leisurely trail through sparse mountain forest takes you from Ehrwald to Weissensee, Mittelsee and the idyllic Blindsee. From the pass, follow a panoramic trail to Samerangersee and finally to Fernsteinsee.

  • power bank
  • Hiking poles

  • first aid kit
  • download the GPX file, everyone should make sure they have this

Note: hiking can be dangerous. I am not a professional mountain guide.

Each participant is responsible for him/herself and has to be prepared to participate in this grade of hike and to bring suitable equipment.
