Description

If you want to join, you need to text me via PM here or WhatsApp. Please note that for these hikes I am going only with people who hiked with me previously.

People on the list and waiting list who did not reach me out will be automatically removed from this event!

We will meet at München Hbf (Gl. 27). Please be punctual!

The plan is following:

5:32 - 6:55 (RB 6) München Hbf -> Ga-Pa

7:05 - 7:29 (EV) Ga-Pa -> Ehrwald Zugspitzbahn

7:30 - 15:30 hiking

15:30 - 16:30 dinner at the restaurant

16:45 - last cable car downhill (https://zugspitze.de/de/Service-Informationen/Betriebszeiten-Fahrplaene)

It may change depending on the weather, hike & availability of the connections.

Good to know

Things to bring:

  • Deutschland Ticket with ID card (UE) or passport (we are crossing Austrian boarder);
  • cash for cable car down and restaurant at the top;
  • hiking shoes;
  • windproof and waterproof clothes;
  • water (at least 3 l) and some food;
  • sunscreen and sunglasses;
  • DAV insurance;
  • hiking poles;
  • first aid kit;
  • good energy and stamina.

Note:

  • Unjoining is allowed until 12 hours before the start of the event
  • The organizer is no professional guide. Participants are responsible for themselves, must do their own research about the route, and must be able to navigate by themselves (in case the group splits for some reason, for example)

Disclaimer: Hiking can be dangerous. I am not a mountain guide. Everybody is responsible for themselves. Please make yourself familiar with the route and its requirements. Additionally, you could download the map, bring a cell phone and a first aid kit.

It's pointless to post events on Hiking Buddies (or any other similar group) if it's a "private" hike.. The entire point of this group is to go to mountains with people who also want to go hiking on that day but don't have someone to go with..

It is a private hike since I decide with whom I am going with. I do not want to risk that someone I do not know, cannot catch me up until the last cable car departure. Before commenting something next time please read the description.
