Description
Please read about the T-Scale before joining and only join if you enough experience for this hike, this is not for beginners.
Leutsasch Klamm is optional, can be skipped based on the time and weather conditions.
Weather looks good for Sunday. This hike will be postponed to another day if the weather forecast gets worse..

• to Mittenwald, arrival at 09:27 Pl. 1 with RB 5411

Mittenwald to Leutasch Ahrn Bus 431 at 0958
Please bring 4.30€ for the bus or you can buy it online.
Return: Trains every 30 mins from Mittenwald
Duration: 9 to 10 hours
Things to bring:
- proper hiking shoes;
- helmet;
- headlamp (just in case if it gets dark);
- cash for the bus connection;
- IDs/Passport (We are crossing the border);
- food and water for the day(no huts on the way);
- Change of clothes for the Klamm;
- layered clothing according to the latest weather forecast;
- GPX viewer with the route information;
- Deutschland ticket.
Optional:
- first aid kit.

Hi Thomas, I just checked https://www.meteoblue.com/en/weather/week/gro%c3%9fe-arnspitze_germany_2916828?day=3 ,its usually reliable(so far still good for us to hike in my opinion). Either way we should comfortably reach Groß Arnspitze by 14, worst case 1430. After which it's a T3 section (still relatively safe to hike in mild rain). Anyways, i will keep this open until tomorrow evening, this can be postponed to another day if the forecast gets worse.

IMO https://kachelmannwetter.com/de/wetter/2916828-grosse-arnspitze is most reliable. an alternative to do the tour from/to Schnaritz (better connection anyway) https://www.hiking-buddies.com/routes/routes_list/3820/

Thanks for alternate route, I am open to either of them, we decide at Mittenwald then which route is better based on the forecast.

I could offer a carpool for the 5 of us (10€ pP) saving us about 1,5h one way, if we do the from Scharnitz. How about creating a whatsapp group?
