NOTE: Since weather conditions are changing drastically over time and I planned this hike pretty early, I keep my rights to change the hiking date (but hopefully we can do it)!

NOTE: Headlamps are required to finish this hike!


Hey guys,

I want to do an evening hike in Kufstein after work.

The hike should take ca. 3 hours with a mediocre pace of 350 mph.


We will meet at München Hbf (Gl. 5). Please be punctual!

The plan is following:

16:07 - 17:24 (RB 54) München Hbf -> Kufstein

17:30 - 20:30 hiking

(A) 20:30 - 21:30 dinner in Kufstein; train back at 21:59, arrival in Munich at 23:19

(B) train back at 20:59, arrival in Munich at 22:17

(C) for Saturday early birds there is a possibility to finish a hike in Kiefersfelden and take a train from there; train back at 20:03, arrival in Munich at 21:16


Hike may change depending on the weather, hike & availability of the connections. 
Good to know

Things to bring:

  • Deutschland Ticket;
  • hiking shoes;
  • water (at least 1.5 l) and some food;
  • head lamp;
  • good energy and stamina.

Optional:

  • hiking poles;
  • first aid kit.

Note:

  • Unjoining is allowed until 12 hours before the start of the event
  • The organizer is no professional guide. Participants are responsible for themselves, must do their own research about the route, and must be able to navigate by themselves (in case the group splits for some reason, for example)

Disclaimer: Hiking can be dangerous. I am not a mountain guide. Everybody is responsible for themselves. Please make yourself familiar with the route and its requirements. Additionally, you could download the map, bring a cell phone and a first aid kit.
