Description

An autumn hike from Brannenburg crossing a ridge with Rampoldplatte, Lerchenkopf, Hochsalwand, (Heidwand) to get the BOB Train in Geitau. It is a T4 Hike, however, t4 section can be Skipped by leaving out the Lerchenkopf - then it is down to a T3. A medium-fast pace (450-550 hm/h) planned - no running and we walk as a group :)

We hike in the opposite direction to the one in description (ca. 1300-1400m uphill).

Good to know

Take enough food and water. We might stop for lunch on the way if one of the huts/alms is open, I am not sure if they will be though. Its autumn weather, chilly and windy - so dress appropriately and prepare for some wet paths as well (good shoes). As always take waterproof/windproof clothes, hut & gloves, warm layer.

Take flashlight just in case!
