Final update: we would meet at Munich hauptbahnhof, platform 30 at 8:15 am, our train departs at 8:32 am, it will be a long journey by train, and we will arrive the start point at 11 after two changes.

The public transport options for this hike are not great, and a car would be preferable. If you have a car, please send me a message or write below in comments.

This is a medium hike, and **not** suitable for first timers.

Given that it's quite a long hike, the pace will be a little less than relaxed, but we will take frequent breaks.

Meeting point: In front of platform 30, Munich Hauptbahnhof

We will depart from Munich at 8:32, and arrive Oberammergau via Murnau, from there we take bus 9622 to Linderhof. This is the start and endpoint of our hike. Here is the bus schedule:

In case we are running short of time, I might deviate the descent a bit, and take a bus from kenzenhuette. This will shorten the route length to 12.5 km, however, the bus from Kenzenhuette is a private bus, and will cost ~5 Euro per person.

We will have lunch at Brunnenkpfhuette, however, please bring enough food/drinks to avoid starvation/dehydration before reaching the hut.

Note: Please unjoin the event well in advance, if you don't want to come. You cannot unjoin the event, when it is starting in less than 12 hours.
