Dear hiking buddies.

autumn time, Lötschental time.. 

The vally is famous for its beautiful trees.

We will do the route reverse and do the climbing first, then go down the 1200 height meters. 

People coming by public transport can take a bus back home from the point where we finish. 

The rest can take the bus to the starting point of the hike, bus goes once per hour, so we have to time our speed a bit in the end.

Time Frame:

09:20 start

4 hours walking up, 1600 height meters

make a stop at the Lötschental hut

4 hours walking down

take the bus back

18:20 at the start (just a guess, we cannot be completely sure)

Hike:

According to the hut's webpage, there is no snow on the paths leading to the hut. I will observe this and the webcam. If there is snow we take another, easier route.

Picnic:

Picnic at the hut around 13:00

Equipment:

Enough water, poles for balance, warm clothers (can be 5 degrees up at the hut, will be warmer in the valley)

Application:

As always there is the possibility to come by car.

Join the car pool and either create a car yourself or have a look who can take you there.

For those who come by public transport please create a "car" in the carpool with around 30 seats and use "public transport" as a description. That way others can join that one and we keep a good overview.

If that one is full, create another one with like 10 seats please.
