Description
On the hike, the view gives you pause again and again: of the Schwyz valley basin, Lauerzersee and Urnersee lakes and later also the Ybriger mountains. The trail leads through a mosaic of moorland, pastures and forests with damp, wet soil. You feel like you've been transported to Scandinavia.
The tour looks quite long. You are free to take the cable car down from Holzegg and the bus to Alpthal which saves quite some kilometers of hiking.

Pace: moderate / 400-500m/h
Difficulty: Beginner friendly, mostly T2
How to join the hike:
a. If it's public transport, hit "Join event."
b. If it's a Carpool event, select "Carpool," and then decide whether to "Join car" or "Add car."
The process is the same, if you go by public transport: Click "Add car" and create a fake car for public transport.
