Join me on this wonderful hike to Buchstein (1701 m) along with Roßstein and Leonhardstein. We will climb at a moderate climbing speed of 350-400m/h. If everything goes according to plan, we will start hiking at 09:30 and come back to Munich at 19:00. Please check the itinerary below for more information.

• The hike is rated at SAC T5 and UIAA I+ difficulty with some A/B via Ferrata sections and is NOT suitable for beginners. 
• Please familiarize yourself with the SAC and UIAA scales before joining the hike (URL: https://www.bergfreunde.eu/alpine-grades-calculator/)
• If you haven't already done a TRUE T5 or higher event before, please contact me, or else you will be removed
• All 3 peaks are mandatory! 😉 you have to do a T5 to get points for T5!
• The link to a Whatsapp group will be posted in the comments section on Wednesday evening (30.10.2024). Please join the group to get the latest updates.

Disclaimer:

Things to bring:

1. A good mood and a smiling face 😁
2. Deutschland ticket (please buy a ticket if you don't have one)
3. DAV insurance (highly recommended)
4. Helmet (highly recommended while climbing Buchstein)
5. Gloves (highly recommended while climbing Buchstein)
6. Sturdy shoes
7. Enough water (>=2 lt)
8. Spikes (Optional/good to have, it might help if there is snow)
9. Hiking poles (recommended)
10. Proper clothes (Please look at the weather and dress accordingly)
11. Food and snacks (We can stop at the Tegernseer Hütte for food and drinks after climbing Buchstein)

Meeting point:

We can meet in front of Pl. 33 in Munich Hbf at 06:45 am. We will take the 07:03 train to Tegernsee as shown in the Itinerary below followed by a bus to the starting point. Please be on time so that we can all get a place to sit. If the platform changes, I will update you accordingly. It is also fine if you wish to join the group from some other train station along with way.
