Hi All!
For this Sunday I would like to organise a beautiful hike to Hüttlebachklamm & Schöttelkarspitze 2050m.
This hike is not for beginners and it is rated as T4
Since there might be some disruption in the transports on Sunday 10th, I would like to have this done via carpool. Hopefully someone will join with their car :)
More info on the hike can be found here :

and here:

- If the weather is not feasible (wet or foggy or snowy) for a safe approach to the top, I might need to cancel the hike, apologies in advance .
To join, add a car or join a car if available. Otherwise enter the waitlist like me.
The aim is to meet at 9:00 am the latest, at Griesweg 10, 82494 Krün, and start hiking right away as it can take 7h in total
If no cars are available by friday evening, I will modify the event to be with public transports, but there might be some disruptions as per info on apps, just fyi.
For this hike you will need:
- Water and food
- DAV or any other mountaineering insurance that can cover in case of emergency
- Power bank
- Cash
- Map
- Spikes and head-torch ( since the peak is at 2050m and conditions can vary)
- First aid kit
- Proper clothing and trekking shoes (hiking boots / approach shoes. Not sure if this is feasible for trail running shoes as at the end is rocky. Definitely not sneakers.)
- Head for heights
- You need to be familiar with scrambling
- I have never done this specific hike before (knowledge is based on readings of routes and photos, plus analysis of the map).
- I am not a mountain guide, everyone is responsible for themselves, i.e. we will stay as a group but different arrangements can be made on the go based on participants needs. If some participants prefer to turn around and go back, this is also possible, as far as each person feels safe.
- Conditions may be variable, if terrain is not safe enough participants (myself included) can decide to go back
