Description

Snowshoe hike, if you don't have the snowshoes but you have proper (=winter) hiking boots, you might join it.


Weather forecast: Cold & sunny.


Note: This hike is at least for intermediate, because the elevation is about +1'000m with snow conditions.


How to get there:

Journey by public transport: Zürich HB - Lucerne - Hergiswil Matt


Journey by car: not recommended, 'cause it's not a loop.

9:10 AM -  Hergiswil Matt SBB station

 
Hike:
  • The hike will last ca. 6-7 hours.
  • Lunch break at Fräkmüntegg.
  • The pace will be medium with enough time for breaks. In case you're not able to keep up with the pace, we might split up.
  • There is the possibility to take the cable car Fräkmüntegg–Kriens, if you want to avoid the way down.

Equipment:

  • Proper hiking boots, poles, snowshoes, snacks, enough water, proper (warm) clothes, sunscreen, good mood and fitness.

  • If you have a No Show in your profile (= you did not show up to a hike you signed up to in the past), I may exclude you from the event.
  • Unjoining allowed until 12 hours before the start of the event. If you are unable to be join for whatever reason, contact the organizer.
