The train and bus connections are good, the trip one way is only 1 hour. There are good connections back, every half an hour till about 7pm
The plan is to go to Aueralm and continue to Fockestein. On the way back , time permitting, we will have lunch at Aueralm and Gluhwein at the Seeadvent of Bad Wiessee where we will aim to be before darkness.
Pace wont be fast (slower than the hikes i usually organize), around 350
There is a list below, but allow me to repeat that we shouldnt forget spikes, headlamps, mountain insurance and optionally good mood.
You are also allowed to be lazy and come only till the Aueralm hut (this would be only 12km and half elevation gain)
