We will take the route which is mostly up to T3 for the way up and the way down

We take the BRB at 08:05 till Priem and then the bus 9505 to Marquartstein, arrival 09:30

After the peak, we will have late lunch at the Hochgernhaus 

We will aim for the bus at 16.25 and be back in Munich at 1756. Alternatively, the next bus is 2 hours later.

We will aim for 400hm per hour which can be for some, challenging in winter. The elevation gain is around 1250 meters.

There is a list below, but allow me to repeat that we shouldnt forget spikes, headlamps,mountain insurance and optionally good mood.

cash for hut 

rain/sun protection according to the latest weather forecast

Alpenverein / mountain insurance 

first aid kit for emergencies
