This is an easy hike and suitable for beginners. As a side effect, there will be a lot of people at the peak.

Public transport: We will take M79007 departing at 6:55 am, which will arrive Freilassing at 8:33 am. From there we take BLB S4 at 8:40 for Berchtesgaden. Finally, from there, we take bus 838 for Dokumentation Obersalzberg, which is the start and endpoint of our hike.

Departure time of return connection: 16:55 (3h11m), 17:39 (3h36m)

Technical difficulty: The hike has difficulty T2. There are some short steep sections, but not technically difficult. Please read the blog to understand the requirements for sac scale T2.

We plan to have lunch at the mountain restaurant, however, this will be super crowded (and possibly expensive as well), so bringing your own lunch is probably a better idea.

Things to bring:

• Waterproof hiking boots
• Cash for the ticket (11 - 15 EUR) and (possibly) for the food at the restaurant
• Food/drinks for the way
• Sunscreen
• Some tolerance for cloudy and rainy weather

Note: Please unjoin the event well in advance, if you don't plan to come. You cannot unjoin the event, when it is starting in less than 12 hours.
