Hi guys, I am organizing an easy winter hike on Saturday 18 January.


I did this walk many times before, it has great views on a sunny day. 

We will walk slowly. 


Route: Grütschalp- Mürren- Grütschalp

Meet and Start of the walk: 11:15 Grütschalp view point (see the picture)

Duration: 2,5-3h walk return walk

Distance: 9km return walk

We can stop for lunch/drinks in Mürren before going back - up to you.

Who would be interested to join? 

I will take:

- 8:28 train from Basel to Lauterbrunnen (via Spiez and Interlaken OST). 

- 10:56 arrival to Lauterbrunnen 

- 11:06-11:10 gondola up to Grütschalp 

- 11:15 meet at the view point Grütschalp and start the walk

Important info for those who travels by train tomorrow to our hike. When you take a train from Interlaken Ost to Lauterbrunnen make sure that your carriage is going to Lauterbrunnen. At some point half of the train will go to Lauterbrunnen and half to Grindelwald. You can ask controller or people around. See you tomorrow!

Hi, I am in the train to Interlaken together with Julie. I see that train to Lauterbrunnen will be 6 min late, please wait for us, we might arrive at 10:20, but we try to catch an earlier gondola , let’s see :)
