Description

Hike Up + Rodelbahn Descent 🛷

Pace: Beginner-friendly

While we still have a nice winter weather, let's have fun and do an easy hike up to Brecherspitz-Westgipfel and, after the nice lunch break at Obere Firstalm, go down with the rented sledges back to Spitzingsee.

Transport to Spitzingsee: 08:29 - BRB RB55 (77359) to Schliersee + Bus 362 to Spitzingsee at 09:30

Lunch break: around 12:30 - Lunch in Obere Firstalm

Return to Munich: Many options, depending on the speed of our descent with sledges, e.g. Bus 362 is departing every 30 min from Spitzingsattel (15:03, 15:33, 16:03)


Please, read before joining:

  • "Team spirit" is a must - we will move together as a group without gaps;
  • The plan is to go down with the sledges all together, without splitting the group for the hiking descent;
  • Sledges Rent Price - 7EUR;
  • Don’t forget to take cash with you in case cards are not accepted in the hut! 
  • Please have your Deutschland-Ticket and the route downloaded; 
  • Proper winter hiking boots and warm clothes are mandatory;
  • Please, be punctual. We will go inside of the train at 08:20. 

IMPORTANT: Please unjoin 12 hours before the hike if you are not able to attend!

Hi everyone! I called Obere Firstalm and they told me that they have more than enough sledges, so we can be sure we will get them. Please, make sure to unjoin the hike if you cannot make it tomorrow. We have ppl on the waiting list who would like to join the hike as well. Thanks a lot and see you tomorrow!
