This Kranzberg panorama tour takes you to what is probably the most beautiful spot on Mittenwald’s local mountain, the Kranzberg (1,391 m). In addition to the fantastic view from the Kranzberg summit, hikers can also enjoy the atmosphere at the popular tourist destinations of Lautersee & Ferchensee. But this tour is also very popular for joggers and trail runners. The high point of the route is a 360° panoramic view from the Kranzberg summit, and this is the possibility for a swim at both Lautersee and Ferchensee. There are numerous possibilities for rest and refreshment in the hiking area at Kranzberg.

Be on time

Things to bring:

  • Good mood
  • Hiking boots/ trail running shoes
  • Cash for the train ticket (11 - 15 EUR) and optionally money for a possible stop for a drink.
  • Food/drinks for the way (its gonna be up to 27°C! and clear sky)
  • Sunscreen
  • Swimming clothes in case jumping in one of the lakes
  • First aid kit
