Description

Meeting point: TRAIN station "Zürich HB" (main station), platform 10 - 8:00 o'clock,
Starting point: CABLECAR station "Elm, Sportbahnen" - 9:53 o'clock,
Distance: ca. 5-7 km,
Duration: 3-4 h (without breaks), so ca. 4-4.5 h with breaks and stops,
Ascents/Decents: 270 m / 270 m in total,
Finish: CABLECAR "Empächli"

Tickets/Costs: You need to buy individually the following TWO tickets, please;
1) 29 CHF ... day ticket from "Zürich HB" to "Elm, Sportbahnen"
2) 19 CHF ... Godelbahn, retour (Elm - Ämpächli)
... so 50 CHF in total, without provisions

a) If you are new to winter hiking, you can get to know the process here. And test your stamina.
b) If you are unsure about your equipment, you can bring everything with you. And we'll test and discuss the details.
c) If you want to test your snow-shoes, THIS is the occasion!
d) If we run well and are motivated, the route can be extended.
