This is a boat tour + hiking event. The idea is to take the boat together from Luzern to the starting point of the hike, Vitznau.

Warning !

The distance, climb and descent are significant and we will be going at a medium/fast pace (550+ m/hour up). Please make sure you understand the meaning of these numbers before joining.

Furthermore, as the starting time is late, please be equipped with warm clothing for colder evening conditions.

Meeting point

Luzern Bahnhofquai before 9h12 (boat departure time).

Transportation

IR70 departing from Zurich at 8h10 and arriving in Luzern at 8:51. Please make your way to the boat departures, we will meet there.

Return: We will take the cable car down from Rigi Scheidegg. We must make it there for 17h35 at the latest. This is essential not to be stranded at the top at night and you will be left behind for the safety of the group if you cannot follow the pace.
