Hoi hikers!

Let's enjoy a snowshoe hike in the beautiful winter wonderland of Melchsee-Frutt. Please note that the route on hiking buddies is not the exact route we will follow, but roughly follows this direction. We will follow the official snowshoeing route marked by pink poles https://schweizmobil.ch/en/snowshoe-trekking/route-790

Pace: Moderate pace

Meeting point:  Melchsee-Frutt (Bergstation)

We'll meet at the top of the cable car from Stöckalp. If you arrive by car, there is parking at the valley station.

What to bring: Snowshoes, waterproof boots, gaiters, water, food, layers, sunscreen, and anything else you might need.

Snowshoes can also be rented in Melchsee-Frutt. I advise you to make a reservation in advance here https://skischulefrutt.ch/rental/vermietung/schneeschuhe/
