🎿❄️ Cross-Country Skiing in Davos + Optional SPA! 🏔️💦

Join us for an exciting cross-country skiing day in Davos on Saturday, February 15, 2025, with the option to unwind at the Wellness und Erlebnisbad eau-là-là after skiing! Whether you're an (advanced) beginner or an experienced skier, you’re welcome to join – everyone can ski at their own pace.

📍 Meeting Point & Travel Plan

We will meet at Zurich HB at 06:30 on platform 11 and take the following trains:
🚆 IC 3 (06:38 Zurich HB → 07:41 Landquart)
🚆 RE24 (07:49 Landquart → 09:03 Davos Platz)

At Davos Platz train station, lockers should be available for storing extra items (SBB info here). Alternatively, we can go straight to the cross-country ski trails, and after about 1 km of skiing, we’ll reach the Langlaufzentrum Davos (info here), where changing rooms and showers are available.

🚗 Carpooling & Train Sign-up

If you're driving, please add your car to the carpool and indicate available seats.

If you're joining by train, please sign up for my fictitious train-car so we can sit together and enjoy the ride!

🎿 Skiing Plan

Davos offers fantastic cross-country ski trails with 56.6 km open for skating and 79.4 km open for classic skiing (Trails overview). We will discuss together possible trails, but you are completely free to choose the trail that suits you best and ski at your own pace.

🍽️ Lunch & Afternoon Options

We can meet for lunch at the Langlaufzentrum or another spot, depending on our skiing pace and plans. Alternatively, we can also bring a packed lunch and meet later in the afternoon for a coffee or hot chocolate.

For those who want to extend the day, we will relax at the Wellness und Erlebnisbad eau-là-là – a great place to unwind after skiing! 🌿🛁 (More info & prices).

🔙 Return Options

Different train options are available for the return trip depending on individual preferences.

🎫 Loipe day pass: 10 CHF (Buy online here)

🛁 Spa entry: 10 CHF indoor pool adults, 30 CHF wellness including indoor pool adults (More info)

📌 What to Bring?

• Cross-country ski equipment (or rent in Davos – rental options)
• Winter clothing (dress in layers!)
• Water, snacks, and optional packed lunch
• Swimsuit & towel (if you plan to join the SPA)
