Credits to Sepp for the event

This hike is NOT beginner-friendly.

At least 350hm per hour going up required, as I would like to catch the 16:25 bus, the next one ist at 18:30!!

I plan to go to Hochgern from Marquartstein and see how the way looks, we either go back to Marquartstein or continue to Staudach. See: https://www.hiking-buddies.com/routes/routes_list/354/,)

 I might adapt the route on the way, depending on how the way looks.

• Train from Munich Hbf at 7:56 (Hbf) direction Prien, there we need to take the bus 9505 till Marquartstein (Chiemgau) (see: https://www.dbregiobus-bayern.de/).  
• The bus I would like to take on the way back is at 16:25 from martquartstein or 16:28 from Staudach (back to Muc around 18:00. This means we might need to keep a steady pace (maybe I am too ambitious).
