Winter hike to the mystic Paxmal

The weather is promised to be partially sunny on Saturday, so I would like to take advantage of it and hike up to a greek-style peace building Paxmal, with beautiful views over the Walensee.

There will be some snow on the top, but probably not much.

Start at Walenstadt SBB train station at 09:20 am. The train IR35 departs from Zürich HB at 08:12 arrives at 09:15 am.

Difficulty: T2.

Pace: ~350-400 uphill meters per hour. We should reach Paxmal by around 12:30pm to 1pm, enjoy the beautiful views and have lunch nearby.

Meeting point: Walenstadt train Station at 09:15 (that's when IR35 train arrives from Zürich).

If you come by public transportation, click on "Carpool" and "Add Car", and add the train as a car.

Recommended gear: Hiking shoes/boots; Warm clothes; Sunscreen; hiking poles; spikes (optional).
