Join me on this wonderful hike to two peaks in Kufstein, Austria.

• I don't want to leave anyone behind, so the speed depends on the group. However, I expect you to be fit enough to do 18 km and 1300 m elevation gain.
• The hike is rated at SAC T3 to Naunspitze (1633 m) and SAC T2 to Petersköpfl (1745 m). Read about SAC difficulty levels here (URL: SAC difficulty levels)
• I can see some snow in the mountains so having spikes will be helpful. It might rain and snow on the day of the hike, but, the hike WILL NOT be cancelled. Please only join if you are okay with this. (Live webcam)
• The link to a Whatsapp group will be posted in the comments section on Friday evening (14.03.2025). Please join the group to get the latest updates.
• I plan to be back in Munich by 18:00. So, please make time for the whole day.

I am not a mountain guide. I expect everyone who is joining the hike to behave and act responsibly. Everyone is responsible for themselves.

Things to bring:

1. A good mood and a smiling face 😁 (Non-negotiable!)
2. Deutschland ticket (please buy a ticket if you don't have one)
3. Passport for non-EU members (We will cross the border into Austria)
4. DAV insurance (recommended)
5. Headlamp (recommended)
6. Gloves (highly recommended)
7. Winter shoes (highly recommended)
8. Enough water (>=2 lt)
9. Spikes and gaiters (Optional/good to have, it might help if there is snow)
10. Hiking poles (recommended)
11. Proper clothes (Please look at the weather and dress accordingly)
12. Food and snacks (We can also stop at any of the huts along the way)
